How fallen angels use others to tempt us

An opened can of worms

They cannot bait you.

Meaning: Worms are like little snakes, which has always been a symbol for evil. Fallen angels use other people’s weakness or negative qualities to to tempt us, directly or indirectly, by getting them all riled up. They use them as bait. Once we bite (take their bait), they reel us in.
